Charlotte's rank in job search difficulty

A study released by Juju.com ranks Charlotte 16th in job difficulty search.

  The study states for every opening there are 2.74 jobless individuals.  The 16th rank is an improvement from the previous year of 21st.   Jobs in the Charlotte area are  increasing and unemployment is dropping it continues to be a challenging time for the job searcher.

North Carolina tops for business climate

Charlotte/ North Carolina great place for companies to expand!!

Continue to spread the good news that Charlotte/ North Carolina is the place for Corporate Headquarters!

Site Selection magazine has named North Carolina the state with the Top Business Climate for 2010.

Among North Carolina’s strengths, according to corporate real estate executives associated with projects here, are its extensive higher-education resources, work-force training initiatives, moderate climate, transportation infrastructure and business-recruitment efforts.

Tennessee placed second this year, followed in order by Texas, Virginia and South Carolina.

The Tar Heel State also placed first in the magazine’s Executive Survey of Business-Climate Rankings for 2010.

Charlotte Technology jobs on the rise!

We all have seen an increase in demand for strong technology candidates.  NCTA (NC Technology Assoc.)  states the number of open jobs in North Carolina has doubled!  Strong technology talent is challenging  to find even in today's market.

source:  Charlotte Business Journal  The N.C. technology job market continues to show improvement as employers in March posted 2,220 jobs openings, almost twice as many as a year ago. The number of openings was up 28 percent from February, according to the N.C. Technology Association.

The national increase was 13.5 percent.

The strongest demand for workers in North Carolina is coming in financial services, high tech, and information-technology services. Strongest growth was for IT managers, up 76 percent, followed by IT architects and consultants, at 50 percent.
