The Queen City ranks 89th in the Nation in salaries!
Annual salaries in the Charlotte metro area are higher than most American cities, according to a report by On Numbers.
The Queen City ranked 89th out of 406 cities with average annual pay of $44,630, or $21.46 an hour, based on salary data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics Workers in the San Jose, Calif., area earn the biggest paychecks in America with average annual pay of $67,850.
The average hourly rate in Charlotte $21.46, Durham $25.59, Raleigh $21.54 (note Charlotte's number of employee's is double Durham/Raleigh).
